EMLA BlindTech is a limited liability company owned solely by the Foundation for the Visually Impaired Hungarians from Transylvania (EMLA). Unlike traditional companies, its purpose is not to make a profit, but to contribute to the realization of the Foundation’s objectives.

Founded in 2023, EMLA BlindTech focuses exclusively on distributing infocommunication aids for blind, partially sighted, and visually impaired individuals. A good example is the BlindShell Classic 2 smartphone, designed by the blind for blind people.
