Basis: The processing of your data for this purpose is based on eblindtech.com‘s legitimate interest in continuously improving the customer experience on the Site. Providing your data for this purpose is voluntary. Refusal to provide data for this purpose will not have any negative consequences for you.

III. If you are a visitor to the Site, eblindtech.com. processes your personal data as follows:

For marketing activities, i.e. for the transmission, via remote communication means (e-mail, sms), of commercial communications regarding the products and services offered by eblindtech.com, via the Site.
Basis: The processing of your data for this purpose is based on your consent, if you choose to provide it.
You can express your consent to the processing of data for this purpose by completing and ticking the appropriate box in the newsletter subscription form available on the Site. To unsubscribe from receiving such commercial communications, you can use the option at the end of each e-mail/sms containing commercial communications.
Providing your data for this purpose is voluntary. Refusal to provide consent to the processing of your data for this purpose will have no negative consequences for you.
To resolve complaints, grievances and to monitor traffic and improve your experience on the Site.
Basis: The processing of your data for this purpose is based on the legitimate interest of eblindtech.com to ensure the proper functioning of the Site, as well as to continuously improve the experience of visitors to the Site, including by addressing various comments, questions or complaints.
Providing your data for this purpose is voluntary. Refusal to provide data for this purpose will have no negative consequences for you.

IV. Duration for which we process your data

As a matter of principle, eblindtech.com will process your personal data only to the extent necessary to achieve the processing purposes mentioned above.

If you are a customer, we will process your data for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and thereafter in accordance with the legal obligations incumbent on eblindtech.com (e.g. in the case of financial-accounting supporting documents for which the retention period prescribed by law is 10 years from the end of the financial year in which they were drawn up).

If you are a customer and you exercise your option to delete your user account by clicking the Delete Account button in the My Account Information section, eblindtech.com will interpret this action as your option to unsubscribe from receiving commercial communications informing you about products and services offered through the site. In this regard, if you choose to delete your user account, we will no longer send you such emails and/or sms. However, we would like to inform you that deleting your account will not automatically result in the deletion of your personal data. If you do not want your personal data to be processed or if you want your data to be deleted, you can exercise your rights as detailed in point VII below. If you request the deletion of your account, but there is at least one active order on that account, the request for deletion of the account can only be registered after the delivery of the products and the completion of the last active order.

If you withdraw your consent to the processing of your data for marketing purposes, eblindtech.com will cease processing your personal data for this purpose, without however affecting the processing carried out by eblindtech.com on the basis of the consent expressed by you prior to your withdrawal of consent.

V. Disclosure of personal data

For the fulfilment of processing purposes, eblindtech.com may disclose your data to partners, third parties or entities that support eblindtech.com in carrying out business through the Site (e.g. courier companies, IT service providers), or to central/local public authorities, in the following examples:

The right to information, i.e. the right to receive details of processing activities carried out by eblindtech.com as described in this document;
The right of access to data, i.e. the right to obtain confirmation from eblindtech.com about the processing of personal data, as well as details of processing activities such as the way in which the data are processed, the purpose for which the processing is carried out, the recipients or categories of recipients of the data, etc;
The right to rectification, i.e. the right to have inaccurate/unjustified personal data corrected by eblindtech.com without undue delay and to have incomplete data completed; the rectification/completion will be communicated to each recipient to whom the data was transmitted, unless this proves impossible or involves disproportionate efforts.
Right to erasure of data (“right to be forgotten”) – in situations where one of the following grounds applies:
- personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or processed;
- the data subject withdraws his/her consent and the processing has no other legal basis;
- the data subject objects to the processing if there are legitimate grounds for objecting and eblindtech.com cannot demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of data subjects or the processing of personal data is unlawful.
- Where data have been made public, eblindtech.com will inform each controller processing personal data of the data subject’s request to delete any link to such personal data and of copies or replicas of such data.
The right to restrict processing – where one of the following applies:
- the person disputes the accuracy of the data, for a period allowing the controller to verify the accuracy of the data;
- the processing is unlawful and the data subject objects to the erasure of the personal data and requests instead that their use be restricted;
- the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of processing, but the data subject requests them for establishing, exercising or defending a legal claim;
- the data subject has objected to the processing, for the period of time during which it is verified whether the legitimate rights of the controller prevail over those of the data subject. Right to data portability – in the sense of receiving personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and the right to have such data transferred by eblindtech.com to another data controller, provided that the conditions laid down by law are met;
Right to object – in relation to the processing of personal data that is carried out on the basis of the legitimate interest of eblindtech.com or for the purpose of direct marketing. If the data subject objects to the processing for direct marketing purposes, the personal data will no longer be processed for these purposes. The right to opt-out of automated individual decision-making, including profiling, which produces legal effects or which significantly affects the data subject in a similar way. The right to address the National Supervisory Authority for the Processing of Personal Data or the courts, to the extent you deem necessary.

You may also lodge a complaint about the processing of personal data with the National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing.

VIII. Security of processing

EMLA BLINDTECH S.R.L. implements appropriate measures to protect personal data and the rights of data subjects in accordance with applicable law.

EMLA BLINDTECH S.R.L. has implemented adequate security measures both technically and organizationally, so that the processing of personal data is carried out in secure conditions. From a technical point of view, EMLA BLINDTECH S.R.L. uses security measures such as: secure servers, encryption, antivirus measures, defence against computer attacks.

IX. Processing of personal data of minors

EMLA BLINDTECH S.R.L. does not intentionally process the personal data of minors. If EMLA BLINDTECH S.R.L. processes personal data of minors as a controller, it will do so in accordance with the applicable legal provisions and only on the basis of the consent granted or the authorisation of the parents/legal guardians.

X. Updating the Privacy Policy

EMLA BLINDTECH S.R.L. may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the processing of personal data or changes in personal data protection legislation. In the event of such changes, EMLA BLINDTECH S.R.L. will post the updated version of the Privacy Policy on the eblindtech.com so that you are always aware of how your personal data is processed.
